About
BUILT BY A GOONER
WHO GOT TIRED OF
WATCHING ALONE
The Origin Story
I travel a lot for work. Every match day in a new city, it's the same routine: dead Reddit threads, closed pubs, and eventually some random sports bar where nobody cares about the result. I once watched Arsenal lose 3-0 in a bar where the sound was off and the barman was watching something else entirely. He felt sorry for me and gave me a free beer. I couldn't even find that bar again if I tried.
But then there's the other kind of moment. I walked into a cocktail bar called Goody Two Shoes on Long Island, spotted an Arsenal banner behind the bar, and asked about it. Turns out it's where all the local Gooners gather on match day. A roomful of strangers, thousands of miles from North London, losing their minds together. I've had it happen in the Kerala backwaters, in Melbourne, in cities you'd never expect.
The pubs exist. Finding them shouldn't require a Reddit archaeology degree. So I built the thing I wished existed.

How It Works
Every pub on here was submitted by a fan who's actually watched a match there. I check every submission before it goes live. The bar for getting listed isn't "technically has a television." It's "do Arsenal fans actually go here on match day?"
Know a spot? Add it. Takes two minutes.
Keep the Lights On
This costs about £40 a month to run. No ads, no paywalls, no plans to change that. If GoonerPubs has saved you from watching the match alone in some random bar, a pint goes a long way.
100% of donations cover hosting. This runs on Supabase and stubbornness.
Built in London. Not affiliated with Arsenal FC. Just a fan who wanted this to exist.
