Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address - only if you submit a pub. We use it to contact you about your submission (approval, questions, etc). We never send marketing emails.
• Your city via geolocation - when you use the "Near Me" feature, your browser shares your location so we can show nearby pubs. We don't store this. It stays in your browser.
• Basic analytics - page views, referrers, device type, and country. Collected via Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics. GA4 uses cookies to understand how the site is used — no advertising, no profiling. Vercel Analytics is cookieless.

What we don't do

• Sell your data to anyone
• Run ads or ad tracking
• Profile you or build advertising profiles from your browsing
• Store your location - the Near Me feature uses your browser's geolocation API and nothing is saved server-side

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function (dark mode preference stored in localStorage). Google Analytics sets cookies to understand how people use the site — page views, which cities get searched, whether the "Get Directions" button actually gets clicked. This helps us make the site better. No ad cookies. No retargeting. You can block GA in your browser and the site works fine without it.

Third-party services

• Supabase - database hosting. Your submission data is stored here.
• Vercel - site hosting and cookieless analytics.
• Mapbox - maps. Their privacy policy applies when you use the map.
• Google Analytics - anonymous usage data (page views, button clicks). No advertising. No profiling.
• Resend - email notifications about submissions.
• Stripe - payment processing for donations. Handled entirely by Stripe.

Your rights

• You can ask us to delete your submitted data at any time.
• You can use the site without submitting anything or providing any personal information.
• If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR to access, correct, or delete your data.
