More upscale than the Blackstock Road pubs - a proper Islington gastropub near Highbury & Islington station. The beer garden is enormous, wraps around the whole building, with heaters and its own outdoor bar. Roaring fire inside in winter. Gets rammed when Arsenal play but the vibe is more civilised than the pubs closer to the ground. Good fish & chips - some say the best in Islington. 12-minute walk to Emirates.
