Where to Watch Arsenal in Oslo
Short version: The Highbury Pub on Bogstadveien is Oslo’s Arsenal supporters’ bar — named after the old ground and it takes the name seriously. If it is full, Bohemen in the city centre is the backup.
Norway’s Gooner contingent is larger than you would think, and the timezone is kind: UK afternoon kickoffs land at comfortable local evening hours, so you get a proper night out of it rather than a dawn alarm.
When the match kicks off (Oslo time)
Oslo is one hour ahead of London.
- 12:30pm UK early kickoff to 1:30pm. Lunchtime.
- 3pm UK Saturday to 4pm. The main slot.
- 5:30pm UK Saturday to 6:30pm. Early evening.
- 2pm UK Sunday to 3pm; 4:30pm UK Sunday to 5:30pm.
- 8pm UK midweek (Champions League) to 9pm. A full night of it.
The pubs
The Highbury Pub
Bogstadveien, Oslo. The city's main Arsenal supporters' bar, named after the legendary stadium and serious about it. This is the default — where Oslo's Gooners gather.
Bohemen Sportspub
Arbeidergata 2, just off Stortinget in the centre. Mainly Vålerenga’s pub, but the Gooners pile in for the big Arsenal games and it gets rammed. Scarves on every wall, screens everywhere, dead central. For a marquee Arsenal game get there an hour early — fans have reported no seats left well before kickoff. Worth a look when the Highbury is full.
The honest take
Highbury first, every time. Bohemen as the central overflow for the big ones — just turn up early because everyone else has the same idea.
